NOTe: Guys before you read Keep in mind that This Is My First A to M Conversion, and yes other motors have better specs but the ka is getting supercharged and am not looking for other engines as of yet. Thanks.

Hey guys I'm just going to go ahead and cut to the chase,

I have an autotragic '95 S14 and am in the process of converting it into a manual. Basically '95 kae to a '97 Kade, now the Problem is the wiring. Because the '97 De came with its own harness and in the process of installing it I came to notice that the autotragic under-dash harness has different connections.

So My Question: would it be easier to use the original 95 E harness and do the modifications to it, and if so can and should I do the same to the auto tranny harness?

P.S.- can anyone explain explain the Starting System section on this site(Below), I know they are from the trany but dont understand exactly wich to connection to join together.S14 5-speed Transmission Swap - Electrical Connections

ALSO ILL PROVIDE PIC ASAP.

Not sure what this means: "Basically '95 kasohc to a '97 Kadohc" Both KA's were Dual Overhead Cam. Only SOHC were S13's. Also 95-96 CPU's (most) were OBD1 where as the 97-98 had OBDII computer and wiring will be different.
Are you only swapping your transmission or motor with transmission??

You have a 95' S14 and you're swapping in a 97' S14 KA and 5spd tranny correct ?

If thats true i dont know why you said "95 kasohc" as SOHC on came in 89 and 90 S13's.

The only wiring you should have to do is overide the Auto tranny wiring connector under the engine bay fuse box.

Oh and search s14 auto to manual here.
