I think there was a thread on this same subject not that long ago...look a 3 or 4 pages down in the same section(tech talk) and it should be there....I think....

My research on the web shows Dexron III/Mercon is indicated as an acceptable replacement for Nissan D-Matic Trans fluid....

Hmm...what about synthetic fluids? I know for my old turbo-hydramatic 350 you could put synthetic....I need my tranny flushed/new fluid/new filter and want to run synthetic if they have it for my S13 auto trans

atf is atf these days unless you want to go synthetic. I think we're on dex iV now i haven't sold dex III in a while.
