s13 horrible IDLE!?

hey guys...so heres my problem..

when i start my car the rpms shoot up to about 1500 and sit there for maybe ten seconds, then they drop down to around 500, once they are down they start bouncing and it even dims my lights every time they go low...almost like the cars about to die? how do i diagnose this?

dude please more info! what motor, is it boosted, did you change something than it happened?? put in effort to search at least this should be simple!

Get the FSM, read it, fix whatever vaccum leak, or dirty egr, iac valve.. restore idle

Is your bov recirculated? What bov r u running? Have u adjusted the screw on the iacv?
