i've talked to quite a few cops while i worked at the local carwash and they said they really wouldn't pull over anyone w/ neon lights but there are always the handfull of cops who will do it just to be an #######. It all depends on who the cops are.

My freind got pulled over for having neon lights.  Of course he is an idoit, he had Blue neon lights and he was on a busy road at night flashing the blue light and he did make a couple people pull over......lets just say the real cop didn't think it was as funny as we did.

It really depends on where you live.  Every municipality has its own ordinances.

depends on where you live yes, but common laws seem to be: no strobes while driving, no blue (looks like a cop light), nothing on your license plate that would keep an officer from reading it

in one of the suburbs here its completely illegal and the cops will make you cut the wires
