EGR Removal, what the hell is this?

I removed my EGR and was attempting to reroute the vacuum hoses. But what the hell goes into this port that seems to have no hoses going to it. And also.. where the fuck is my EVAP controller!? (If that thing is my evap controller). Can someone help me identify what is wrong. I included two pictures from comparison, the one on the right is my car. Thanks.

First picture I know is the plunger that controls the butterfly valves in the intake ports, they look like mini throttle plates, as for the second picture lemme look at the whip right meow ..That only pertains to the s13 ka and not s14 ka

Thanks! I was very tempted to plug it since I have no idea what it was. I used my finger to cap it and it doesn't seem to do anything, at least momentarily. If you care to explain, what's the purpose of this vent?

if its a single cam you need like 6 inches of vacuum line, intake to FPR and intake to Buttleflyvalves, remove everything else achieve over 9000 HP

The tranny vent is there so that when it heats up from use, it doesn't pressurize and blow oil out of the seals.

uh, if you are removing your emissions on a s13, those butterflies should also be removed or kept open otherwise you could be potentially running into issues. Ideally you should remove the intake, un-screw each butterfly out, and weld up the holes between the runners and at the end where the plunger is.

Search youtube for 'emissions removal ka24de' or '240sx tech dvds'.
(basically, if you want to do it right, you should get the emissions removal DVD from 240sxtechdvds.org)
you should also download a free Factory Service Manual from him as it has diagrams on how all this works.

There is also information on ka-t.org but make sure you read it before posting the same questions there. Cheers.
