Had a similar code on my frontier (kA24DE). I took out canister purge volume control solenoid, tapped out all the carbon build up. Also cleared out all the lines around it (they were essentially closed off with chunks). This problem most likely is caused by the charcoal canister sending the charcoal bits up the line, thus jamming the solenoid.

Dude, this guy^^^ gave you a really good link to help you, but you completely dismissed it. That link pretty much tells you everything that can cause the code. What more do you want? ...ok say ahh... Possible causes: - EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve stuck closed - EVAP control system pressure sensor and the circuit - Loose, disconnected or improper connection of rubber tube (you already replaced the hose so this can be crossed off) - Blocked rubber tube (again, this can be crossed off since you replaced the hose) - Cracked EVAP canister - EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve circuit - Closed throttle position switch - Blocked purge port That leaves only 6 things that it could possibly be. Download the Factory Service Manual here: 240sx Factory Service Manuals : 240SX Technical Forum The FSM will go into greater detail and take you step by step on what to check as well as how to check it for that particular code. ...now get busy! ![]() |
