yah man, I'll never eat McD's, Wendy's, Sonic, Toxic Hell, none of that shit ever again! I just spend the extra few bucks and get something decent like Fazoli's, Quizno's, or Chipotle's. My stomach feels wrecked for the next 24hrs after eating at those fast food joints...

That only happens if you don't do anything to burn the calories, like working out or something.

I know mcdonalds is hella bad for you. I did work there. But I wonder how much of this can be contributed to the fact that he was eating the same thing everyday, and not necessarily because it was McDs?

yeah i wouldnt be surprised if the same thing happened from eating at say a different fast food restaurant everyday. theyre all crap healthwise. ppppffff and then KFC comes out with the commercial saying something like "each one of our chicken breasts has 40g of protein". now i wouldnt doubt that it did but who cares if it also has 40-50% of your daily fat needs (not to mention being the nasty saturated fat).

no surprise there. I very rarely eat at fast food joints anymore, mostly because some of the places I DO like to go to every now and again (KFC chicken strips or Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad) just end up giving you so little food... and you pay upwards of 5 bucks for the shit... plus you get a hugeola drink you don't even want nearly that much of, and half the time it's straight out of the warmer where it's been sitting for who knows how long.

I much rather go to Subway or something... the prices are better, the food is a little better, and it's got more nutritional value to it maybe somewhere. Other than that, just go home and make a PB&J with whole wheat bread
Really though... it's just not even close to cost-effective no matter how many factors you plug into it.

haha, who the hell eats fast food 3 times a day? Go exercise people. There's a reason the Atkins diet works. It's because a lot of people cant even become active enough to burn the carbs they take in.

Fast food is hell! I used to eat McDonalds... then I would always get sick. So I started eating Arbys, but I would get sick also. So now I just stop somewhere good and spent that extra 3 bucks for something better tasting and better for me.

I just started exercising again and I felt like getting mcdonalds breakfast this morning because I havent had it forever and an egg mcmuffin sounded damm good, but then I was eating it and I started to feel really sick, like I felt all greasy inside and it gave me a headache almost, I couldnt believe it, because I used to get mcdoanalds every once in a while, and now its like I cannot eat those foods they make me feel sick. Alot of kids are growing up eating this so they get used to the taste of greasy foods, I am not used to it anymore....maybe i outgrew greasy foods

i also feel sick after eating mcdonalds now... i guess when u near your mid 20s your system just can't take it anymore. as for everyone saying 'go excercise..!!!' i ate 2 cheesesteaks a day for 3 months straight back in college ( good old days ) and never developed a toxic liver... that is a little beyond just being greasy. TOXIC liver!

That guy was obviously not eating healthy. I have a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit four times a week and it doesn't phase me.

BTW....some of you have to try the McGriddles....taste like a friggin pancake and all the sides (egg, bacon, etc.) in one bite.

Exactly what I was aiming at. Imagine eating oatmeal for 30 days.

The sausage is the greasiest thing we cook. I remember on saturday and sundays I would work grill at 6, and I would have to make crapload after crapload without cleaning the grill since it was so damn busy. I would have to start by making a pile of bacon the size of a basketball (which sat around all day if it wasnt sold, and was sold later of course)...

Everyone by now knows fast food isn't very healthy for you. They were trying to prove what we already know... we all know you won't get skinnier if u eat 1000+ calories per (fast food) meal 3 times a day with NO exercise. If you didn't know that, then i guess you deserve to get fat.

I kinda got tired of reading all your posts but all I have to say is that the article in the original post is a pile of shit aimed at stupid people or at least someone who has no experience in the field of science. So what if you have some doctor telling you that McD's kills your liver. Is there any supporting evidence? It says that he has returned to normal health. Let me just tell you that when you damage your liver, it's permanent. The scar tissue from liver damage isn't going to magically turn back into liver tissue.

This just reminds me of this infomercial I saw the other night. It was all about a toothebrush sanitizer. I wasn't paying attention to much of it because I was on the computer but I remember hearing some asian guy say how he was in biochemistry in college and did some research on the amount of bacteria found in his toothbrush. This is one guy who happened to do some research. Science and research is all about repeating research and improving, not just something that one guy did and now it's the argument to end all arguments. McD's aint gonna kill you if you eat it occasionally. Some people like the taste and it's cool on occasion but if you eat it every single day, of course you're going to be fucked. You'll be fucked if you eat other things every day for a month. That is why we eat a variety of food to cater to all the vitamins and minerals we need. If you start focusing in on just one thing, you will fuck yourself over. It's stupid propaganda like this that clogs the minds of the normal American. It's fucking mind boggling how some stupid guy like this could get enough publicity to have something written about him.

damn man...

wow you sound so angry in your post! i was impressed with the way the anger just flies off the page. O_o anyway i kind of took it as a tongue in cheek article... it's posted in the posts' entertainment section if u noticed... thought it would funny. sorry if any of you got angry over it...

anyway i had one of those new mcdonalds cheesesteaks... they suck. don't get them. the steak looks like tiny little squares. the cheese tastes like creamy nothing. no flavor. it's really bizarre. bread + square + nothing with alot of pepper on it = mcdonalds cheesesteak.

I can't stand McDonald's. Every time I eat there it makes me sick. By the time it gets to my intestines it feels like I ate a bag of quaters instead of a hamburger. I usually eat at Whataburger their food is better and it isn't heated up in a microwave.
