s13 Gas tank varnish?

This is the first time I've ever put a car away for the winter and wasn't aware you had to fill the tank up full and put a stabilizer in it or it will start to varnish on the inside of your tank. So my car's been sitting for about 6 months with less then a 1/4 tank what should I do before putting my engine back in and firing it up?

I just took 9 year old gas out of my tank with a pump. It didnt leave any varnish at all. Just take out all that gas and fill her up should be fine.

Thanks I'm glad to hear that. Was planning just to pump it out but was sure I would have had to drop the tank which would have been a pain in the ass just wanna get this car going again.
