another wheels thread *sigh*

So, I'm about to pick up some 17x8's in +25 fashion, when a friend keeps pointing out that too many sets of 17x9's are selling for the same price (wheels + tires)

Does anyone have any 9" wheels that can share some personal first-hand information?

Do you have to pull or roll the fenders to fit? I'm thinking in the +25 or +30 offest range. Is 17 x 9" just too wide to be practical?

*edit* And I apologize for having ANOTHER wheel thread out there. I get sick of them myself, so you must understand that I'm not finding my answers using other means. I'm just looking for some real-world opinions.

17x9 +25 will fit fine on the S14. Depending on your tire size choice, you might have to roll your fenders. For guarantee fitment and clearence, roll fenders and dial in negative camber.

I'm running 17x8 +14 with 215/45 and 17x9 +14 235/40 on my S14. It's rolled in the rear and unrolled in front.
