I've been extremely angry today. In fact i've been angry and bitter since my accident in my s14 last wednesday. Well anyway, the adjuster came out today to snap some pictures of the damage. Basically my car is a total loss and hearing soemone tell me that from the insurance company shattered what little hope I had. Add up all the damages, airbags+ dash would cost about 2k just to replace, Then the damage to the upper frame rails etc... basically damage adds up easily to about 4,000 If I were to fix. Thats more than 56% of kbb value and when that happens your car is a total loss. Now I have to sit and wait till they decide who is at fault. Obviously the bitch who caused my accident was at fault, but she didn't admit to it. So, basically I can get fucked over for everything. Ok so whats not making me mad is the situation. What makes me really angry is that I will not ever, Never ever everver ver evrevrvrevrvevr in amillion years will find a s14SE 5SP will almost all options ( wll no lsd but who cares) avvailable fully loaded for $3300. I got a car for about half of what the go for today. On top of that I have the money sitting for my sr in my bank account un touched because I was going to get an sr within these next few weeks. So now I have to use my sr money and wait maybe longer than I ever have to get what I've been busting my ass for this past year. So I'm back to fucking phase 1. I can make life easier and just get an s13, but it's not what I want. HOpefully, just hopefully I can get money for my car, but with my luck lately I'm not going to get anything.
I may sound like an un appreciative fuck because I could have lost my life, but deep down inside I'm pisssed off at the whle situation and what I maybe facing. So now I have to wait maybe lets see 5months to year just to find a s14 to replace this one because it's hard to find them, because everytime I find one it's overpriced or some motherfucker bought it before I could have got the chance to look at it. Just needed to vent, back to pahse 1 for me

i feel your pain. if thats what you wanna hear. i would be pissed off if something like that happened to me. find a lawyer ASAP, ins. co's give money alot faster when they see your packin. sue that bitch for moral damages. heck she doesnt need to drive if its her fault.

I won't sue for like emotional distress or anything. That's just not right, but I'm going to do whatever I can to be compensated for the damages to my car.

That right there shows that you have a very strong character and are not into the frivolous greed thing. I am glad you made it through the accident. I would sell the whole airbag setup for less than $400 easily, those adjusters and their fair market/current value figures...

get a lawyer and find a couple nearly identical cars like yours and get the lawyer to contact a private insurance company. or threaten to bring in a private appraiser. when my eclipse was totalled insurance wanted to give me like $2100. when I threatened to bring in a private appraiser they said they sent another appraiser out and he said $4300 which is more than I originally was hoping for so......

well everything is still in its early stages concerning the insurance companies. Next thing I will definately hear from the insurance company is who is going to be at fault and which insurance company is going to accept responsibility.

dude.. just find any s14. im sure its not too hard to find in california. the sr swap would convert it to 5spd anyway. im sure you'll find a good deal. don't give up hope so fast.

You have neck pains, back pains and shot nerves. I hope you started seeing a doctor immediately, if you haven't, it isn't too late. Go ASAP.. and get a lawyer. Most ambulence chasers (injury lawyers) have a thing, they don't get paid until you do. Like Larry H. Parker for example. HA.. anyhow, just a tip for you. I've been in your situation, and yes, it's super crappy. Good luck.. I hate it when S14s go down like this.

I'm glad you won't sue for that frivilous stuff. I hate people who do that, they abuse the judicial system. My dad was in an accident in NJ about a year ago, someone slammed on thier brakes, and there were a strung of cars that hit, and he was in the back. Not a problem, he made sure the woman he hit was ok, no major injuries, we're all good. Now, she is suing him for "emotional Damages and loss of work" BS. Thats workign behind the back. The judidial system is set up for people to settle thier own differences as well, not just bring them to court. anyway, my own personal rant

I think it's great that you refuse to sue for frivolous stuff when you are fine but as long as that bitch is playing dirty and claiming the accident wasn't her fault (assuming it WAS her fault) then I don't see a reason for you to play fair either. Your neck must be hurting right now...
I hate it when people like her do stuff like that. Retaining moral character is great and all, but in this world you can't be so naive and expect for everything to work out, you have to make it work out yourself. i'm not saying go out and lie, bout a lil exagerration wouldn't hurt.

Hawd in California you have the right to have your car fixed at the shop of your choice. Maybe you can get a reasonable estimate that wont make your car a total loss. Or if they want to pay you for your car, you should get blue book value for it.
that's about 5 grand for a 95s14 with all options with 120K on the clock..

when i got rear ended, my truck was declared totalled and i had slight whiplash. my insurance paid me 3500 for the truck, and my lawyer helped me get another 2500 on top of my reimbursement for my physical therapy bill. nothing sneaky, i'd say. didn't have to sue or anything. i used the money to get my s13 and some parts

Theres this auto white base model s14 for sale nearby for like 4400, Body is nice and clean, but it has a nasty ass blue interior

Thinking of buying it and swaping everything from my car up into that biotch basically my interior which is black, 5 lug swap, and 5spd swap. O and it has no sunroff, I will really miss the sunroff for those days when u feel like u want to bling it and let lal the air blow in your hair, but I always used to keep mine closed because I found the morning sun annoying some times.

I did see a doctor the after the acident later that night. I have few pulled muscles in my back, thats about it. I reinjure those muscles easily because I used to play highschool football ( aka al bundy hasbeen) and I messed up my lower back muscles pretty bad. I'm really lucky considering nothng else happned like losing half of my face like kanye west?? haha
