How to take off factory spoiler - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

Ive tried many things to take off the factory spoiler... and it doesnt seem to come off...Maybe im doing something wrong. Anyone got any ideas?  Any help is aprecciated   <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':eh:'>

Open your trunk look under the sticker bolt covers use a 12mm or 10mm? you will take off 4 nuts and then the spoiler will pop off. Unless it is glued.

i took my off last week and thank god there was no rust...  i like the look of it witht the PDM lip and no wing.  mmmm....  does anyone else just like park there cars, start to walk into work, then turn around and stare at it for a few minutes?  i do that alot...  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':blush:'>

Well, lucky for some of us  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':angry:'> , all u have to do is unbolt the 4 bolts and then it just comes off because the pieces the plastic clips are attached to are rusted out and dont do much neways...

I have a 1992 240SX SE i was wondering if it was a little dif. Cause the only 4 bolts i could find removed the entire trunk.

I figured it out i had the right stuff unscrewed, but I was not pulling the wing hard enough to get the snap on plastic parts to come out.
