KA Switching Dashboard....

Ok So I Got A New Dash Board Thats Not Cracked....im Gonna Switch Em Out This Coming Weekend But I Noticed That The Vin # Is On The Dash....can I Switch The Vin #'s Out?!i Have A 91 Hatch By The Way

I know that myself and others have made long posts describing how to swap the VIN plates and the legality of it.


I believe my post was titled " Swapping Dash, VIN# question " so just copy and paste that into the search box

yup just switch the vin to yours, its only held on by rivets

i did this a while back its pretty easy just drill out the rivets, and find a set of screws to fit the hole nice and tight to where they will catch a thread....i warn you though make sure you get your vents and such lined up right when you put the dash back in, and also just easily work it it can be frusturating(sp?) at times
