how do i send messages over a network? i used to know how to do it. something like IP config...

use winpopup.exe

If you know the computer name you can use

"net send" command and that will work also.

All of this will only work if you're on a Windows workgroup or domain.

from the start menu goto-->run. Type net send [username of recipient] [message]
