That's gross vechile weight. I can't remember what that really means though. it's always a few hundred above the real weight.

GVW is the weight of the car soaking wet plus max occupancy of 4 passengers times 180lbs =720lbs 3500-720=2780lbs------> the actual weight of the car (with all fluids full)

I cant weight to weight my new s13 coupe with no sunroof. Its gonna be light, and suprisingly it is a little stiffer then all my previous 240SXs that had sunroofs. Once I done with all the work on the car my car should weight veeeeeery little

CF Hood, SR20DET, Zeal Coilovers (20 lbs Lighter then stock spring/shock setup), 5 Lug swap with 300ZX aluminum uprights, lightweight wheels, tossed rear seatbelts and lining. A few more things but I cant think of em off hand. I got a s13 coupe with no sunroof so it will be lighter and stiffer

Don't want to make this a TECH chat.....but you know using the rear 300zx uprights, won't let you use S13 Coilovers on the rear..... and don't think your the only one doing this.....in the process of test fitting things on a spare IRS , so I won't have any down time. Things are going slowy, but going...

let us know how it goes and congrats on the upgrade score. I just got back from getting a 93 KA truck flywheel. can we say 240 mm clutch surface i.e. more grip and I am having it lightened.
