I'm doing an s15 swap in my s13. I bought an s14 intercooler kit since it's essentially the same thing. Looking at pictures I've seen this tube hooked up for something but I could never see where it goes or if it's needed. My buddy's s13 sr doesn't have it and my other buddy's s14 sr doesn't have this on his piping.

Where does it go? Is it needed or can i cut it off and weld it shut

I cut mine off and put my bov flange in its place. Its for a recirculation valve

They use that for a stock blow off valve if you upgrade your BOV then don't worry about it. You wanna cut it you wanna leave it. All up to you
