I am guessing that a Viscous LSD is not strong enough for track use.

Am I correct?

Killer, you know the ring and pinion are a "mated" pair right? It's a huge no no to swap a ring gear to a different pinion or vice versa. You need that ring gear it you plan on putting a diff back in your housing.
