Looks like that outlet is meant for eliminating a clocking plate when going to a t28 turbo from t25? Cool.

yea, looks like it. i have the same outlet and inlet on my sr. came from a greddy suction kit for a t28 on a s13 sr

You are correct. Convenient for using a T28 with conventional-style piping.
They can also be used on a T25 with clocking adapters, or custom piping.
