![]() So here goes:
Did a 5-Speed swap on my recently acquired 95 240 w/ ka. Everything went pretty smooth, automatic stuff came out, new clutch w/ lightweight flywheel went in. Transmission went in, pedal install, etc etc. Clutch bled fine, car goes into all gears just fine. PROBLEM: Intermittently the car will shake violently when I push the clutch in. Not as soon as I push the pedal, but shortly after. At first I thought it was only when the car was in neutral, but it also does it in other gears as well. If I push the transmission into another gear, the shaking will almost always abruptly stop.. Car drives fine, but the shuddering/shaking had me park it back in the carport ![]() Thoughts? Clutch? Pedal adjustment? Ran out of daylight so shoot me some ideas. The transmission had unknown history and even sat at my house for like a month or two. |
