Hello guys,

I'm running 24psi and I'm having a 3psi boost drop at 6.5k and I think it might be due to the blitz bov I have as its rated for 17psi.

However, I totally love the whooosh sound coming from this bov compared to the more common pshh sound.

Greddy type r, turbosmart supersonic tial 50mm maybe?

get a stiffer spring for it and it shouldn't leak.

I personally run the turbosmart megasonic with NO surge at 20psi

Blitz 70997A Hard Blow Off Valve Spring

And fine tune with Allen bolt on top

Synapse blow off valve sounds way nice. Personally had it on a ka-t. Doesn't give off that annoying loud squeal but rather a loud swoosh. Sound of hard rushing air.

never understood why people want to hate on people that like the sound. you spend so much money on a turbo setup and then get hated on because you want to hear it, too.

Your not hearing your turbo with your bov, your hearing it throw up your boost.

Cuz its fucking annoying when people think the louder your BOV, the faster the car is. I lost track of how many fuck bags have rolled up next to me and rev'd their engine so I can hear their POS HKS BOV. I just blow by them with my external wastegate wide the fuck open...

it may be annoying to you (and to me too actually) but its their car to do with what they like. i know thats a hard concept for some people, but if they want a loud bov - let em have it. its better than that loud ass raspy exhaust i have to listen to from stupid honda boy that rolls past my house every day.

I'd rather hear the rasp lol. I dont have a problem with what he wants. I was just saying that a BOV is not going to make him hear his turbo or not lol.

No hate guys,

I run 2 bov, one is oem recirculate to help the stalling issue and the other one is my ''little pleasure''.

As for the sound making you feel faster, I still own a +500whp car so I guess I don't deserve to be in the same category as you mentionned.

Atleast you have the power to back it up. I think you need to focus on functionality rather than sound. Find a bov that will handle your boost levels.
