FS/FT: 1992 s13 hatch. Oem kouki aero, sr, fresh paint, s15 turbo, 5 lug,

PLEASE REAR THE THREAD THOROUGHLY

Name: Tao
Contact info: 337-255-5412 I prefer text
Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
Title: Clean in hand
vin: JN1MS36P5NW101253
Price: 4700 obo I will entertain offers or trade for something nicer/newer (ap1, z33, GD, swapped GC, GF, G35, Tsx,). Must be manual and i can add cash on top.

I will disclose everything best to my memory. If there's anything i left out please don't hesitate to ask questions.

I purchased the car in late April this year from a previous acquaintance in Mississippi (met halfway in New Orleans). I drove the car all the way back from New Orleans and daily it for the next few weeks until i find issues with the car. 4th gear was grinding badly, major exhaust leak, P/S leaks badly, and oil leaks coming from valve cover...possibly rear main seal as well. Other than these issue mentioned, the motor pulls strong and healthy.

I decided to pull the motor out and clean up the bay and start ordering parts. Replace the transmission with a good used one, upgraded clutch/flywheel, oil pan, turbo, PS lines, 5 lug conversion, exhaust, etc.

Unfortunately, upon finishing the work, we fire the car up to find out there is another oil leak coming from underneath the 4th exhaust runner. I removed the turbo and found a patch of JB weld on the side of the block (i don't know how i did not see this the first time i pulled the motor out). We cleaned the block up and there is a very small hole visible on the side of the block (shown in picture below).

So what does this mean? I have a friend that is welder who was convinced that the hole can be properly welded back up and everything would hold (remember i drove the car back from New Orleans and the motor pulled very strong). Worst case scenario, you will probably need to get a new short block and break some sweat.

I am enrolled back in school full time and don't have enough time to deal with this until the break. However, if i don't get any reasonable offers then i may just keep the car and finish this up later.

On to mods

Engine/Drivetrain

S13 SR Black top
Walbro Fuel pump
Koyo Radiator with OEM clutch fan set up
S15 Spec R turbo (bought used with no shaft play at all)
stock injectors and mafs
Spearco Front Mount intercooler
HKS SSQV Blow off valves
Circuit sports turbo lines
Rocker Arms Stoppers
RPS Clutch (bought used from a member on H240, plenty of meat left)
Greddy Lightweight pulleys
Toda light flywheel
Megan turbo elbow
Unknown 3" test pipe
New Rear Main seal
New ISIS 3" blast pipe exhaust
New Megan flex downpipe
New Pilot bearing
New Stainless Clutch line
New Chase Bay power steering set up
New Circuit sport coolant reservoir
New ISIS Oil Pan
Diff is welded

Suspension/wheels

KTS coilovers
All adjustable suspension arms (unknown brand, installed by previous owner, probably ebay)
Front Ichiba 5 lug conversion
Rear z32 5 lug hub
MB battles 17x9.5 +15 wrapped in federal ss595. Tire has 100% tread left. Brand new
K Sport hydraulic E brake

Exterior

OEM 180sx Kouki front bumper with all working lights and side pieces
OEM 180sx kouki side skirt
OEM 180sx Kouki tails
Origin replica Roof spoiler

According to the previous owner, the car just had a fresh paint job from last year. The color is Viper Red i believe. However, it is not perfect. Front bumper paint doesn't match and clears are peeling. Clears are peeling on certain spot on the hood as well. Overall, IMHO, i'd still say it's a cleaner chassis than majority of the S Chassis on the market.

Interior

Perfect Dash, no cracks
Autometer water temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and boost gauge.
Unknown brand steering wheel and quick release hub.
S14 seats.
Everything works except AC. Heat, power window, radio, lights.

So to sum it up for those of you that may miss some stuff

Good
- good straight chassis in one color, shiny color. Which i find rare among 240s
- All OEM aero, no fiberglass BS.
- injectors, mafs, and a tune away from 300whp.
- 5 lug, ton of new parts with 0 miles

Bad
- small hole in the block. Worst case scenario, you will need a new short block which i'm sure you can find for less than a grand and do some work.
- no AC
- no Horn (need to be wired up and a button)
- E brake doesn't work well (i haven't sort this out yet but this may have something to do with install error by previous owner)

The car will obviously need to be towed away in its current condition. I understand some of you may think my asking price is high for a non running 240 but I do feel like i spent a good bit of time and money into this and would love to see a fraction of it back. Feel free to make an offer but please be a civil and respectful about it. If i can sort out all these issue myself then the price will go up accordingly.

On to pics

the hole

Thanks for viewing. If i miss anything, i will add later

seems to be, the motor starts up every time and idle fine. I have trouble finding a local shop that can weld that for me at the moment. If i can't find any serious buyer or a decent trader offer by the end of this year, i will just keep the car and fix the problem.

went talk to a local shop today. They're certain that the hole is just the oil passage and can be welded shut. Someone makes me offer before i change my mind and keep this car
