godspeed turbo rebuild question

gsp 20g turbo is certainly a waste of money, maybe the smaller one has better results, but there are several better inexpensive options for this style turbo which is fucking awesome for the SR up to 400whp or more if u wanna get fancy.

Well, I would think any good turbo shop would be able to do it it no questions asked. If you need a guy I can refer you to one, GREAT price and about same day service. He upgraded my rb26 turbos and they are flawless so far.

Why dont you tear it down and see what the guts look like, then order the correct replacement part? But it doesnt matter, I'll give it 6 months and itll blow again. Shitty turbo is shitty turbo...

If you can't afford to buy parts twice, buy a good part the first time. This is a good lesson everyone has to learn.

It could have worn off because it just is a crappy turbo, but it could also have worn off because it was not used correctly (overspin, surge, used at poor efficiency and so on). If this is what happened, getting another one will kill it too, event if it is made with good materials.
