Tachometer dead...after Diff/Subframe install

I replaced my subframe over the weekend. Had to move over my diff. After the install...my tach was working fine. Then today, it did not function properly. I was thinking it was a Grounding issue. Possibly the ground pin that connects to the diff and the frame?? well I removed that and replaced it. Tach is still dead (it sputters up to 2,000 rpms max sometimes). Need some help!

Check your Crank Angle Sensor, it's located behind the block, on top of the bell housing. Kind of a pain in the ass if you don't have small, carney hands though..

I will try that. Weird thing is, tach started working today again! but I have a felling it might be only temporary. *fingers crossed* Do you also think that the lines behind the tach are loose as well??

Edit: Well the tach stopped working again. All other gauges are still functional.

thelinja, did you mean the crankshaft position sensor? Looked up in FSM and says crank angle sensor built into distributor (CAMshaft position sensor). The Crankshaft postition sensor though, is located where you described it according to the FSM. Just need some clarification. Thanks.
