Garrett DBB GT4580 HUUUGE

You're looking at a GENUINE Garrett 4508r(80mm compressor wheel) ceramic ball bearing turbo. 1.15 a/r. The exhaust turbine housing just got freshly powdercoated with a high temp black 2000 degree coating. The compressor housing is fully polished to a mirror shine and had the Garrett logo sanded down and removed. V-band flange for intercooler discharge piping. T4 flange for manifold. Capable of 1200+hp. Biggest T4 turbo Garrett offers. Used on my 98 Supra and made 1033rwhp. Less than 500 miles, selling to go with a t6 set up for 90+mm applications. Guaranteed to be in 100% perfect working condition or your money back. Paid over 3300.00 for this new less than 2 years ago.

asking $1600.00 OBO

it was around ~5600, HKS 280 cams, and a fully CNC ported and polished head helped a bit haha, and the fact that the motor can rev out to ~9000+rpm

never really watched the tach, when the car hit boost it was 1000whp to control in a straight line.

I think it's more along the lines, that most members on this forum don't have a motor that can handle a turbo of this size.

Free bump if you don't mind answering the question.....

How much did it cost you to build a 1000hp motor? No car costs....just the motor/accessories?

Thanks

well, the turbo alone with 3300 when i bought it new.. the head is CNC ported and polished so that was also a crap ton i think i have around 6-8k in the head with all the machine work (which is what got me in the price) valves, springs, cams, cam gears, bottom end deff has some money into it, .40 over CP pistons, Carrillo rods, bearings, arp bolts. balancing of the bottom end... then theres the full race manifold, the new intake mani, 100mm TB 2000cc injectors(way more than ill ever need) honestly to have a low guess id say 10k at least. after you factor in tuning, wastegates (2), SS lines, and fittings were prolly talking 14000 low side for just the motor.

couple vids for your entertainment:

1300 hp is at the crank not wheels...not yet anyways :O
