Hi Guys,

Gonna start doing some autoX, drift events, and track events before I decide to add any more mods to my car. I did some reading, and I would like to invest for the future and get S2000 helmet incase I decide to do track events.

Important issue I noted about helmets is to go and try them on before making a purschase. I was wondering if any of the bay area people know helmet shops that have helmets in stock so I can try them on. I'm looking for places in the San Jose area.

helmet city up in oakland. Another local shop is off of monterey hwy in south san jose, but its a bike shop AND I doubt they have SA helmets.

Frey racing up in milpitas area might has some helmets too... www.freyracing.com

I got mine off the internet, it's a little tight but still works fine. And you don't need SA helmets for autoX, most organizations accept M class helmets

Where I went to try on helmets...

Frey Racing - Fremont, CA

I know they have a variety of helmets but if they don't have the model/size you want, find a similar model and try a size, they're usually pretty similar. Had to do that w/ the Bell model I was interested in getting.

Got my helmet while I was there, was a deal compared to what we get in the corn states

And its pimpin

Snell 200 helmet $100
Blue mirror face cover $30
Having to wear my helmet because I didn't want to check anything in and scaring people at the airport: Priceless
