S-afc Ii

I just got one and all the instructions are in Japanese. This afc is not sold in America yet. Does anyone know the wiring for it? I am putting it into a 1995 240sx with a red top sr20det.

hey whats up, im new to this board but right now i live in japan, oh and that guy said, japanese language friend, japanese..not that that helps you, so if you want you could, scan the book, and i could look at it for you, or you could look for someone with an afc, it might be the same...good luck.

Ok. It is close but not the same. The new afc has more features included in it. I need to know what the additional wires are. Thanks for trying to help but bottom line is I NEED A TRANLATOR

I'm not Japanese myself but I do speak it. I've wired up my Greddy E-01 and E-manage (Japanese versions) by myself. Plus my girlfriend lives in Japan so worse comes to worse there's always that =P

Someone needs to scan the instructions. I can host them. Then, we'll FAQ them and help the community. Get to it!

i would scan em(i have a s-afc 2) but i dont have any way to scan the booklets, ill try to get some good digital pics, there is like 6 dif books though, its alota translating. the one manual has popular setups too, like for the sr20 and other engines, so thats a pretty good starting point for us.

http://www.dweebsunite.com/1to14.pdf
(on my little bro's server)

You guys like? It's only pages 1 to 14 of the first manual..

I skipped the contents and the warnings. Most of the translation come in the final couple pages. I have to do some other work now so I didn't get a chance to read over what I translated. I'll do that when I find the time again.

Having to change the font of the pdf file line by line is what's taking my time. It uses MSP Gothic but I have WinXP Japanese installed, which uses MS Gothic. Does anyone know of a simple way to change the fonts of a pdf file? Or does anyone know where I can find MSP gothic??

Oh yeah, I had to crack the pdf file, too.

As per speedfreak's request, here are the knock correction setup procedures:

http://www.dweebsunite.com/manual_38.jpg
http://www.dweebsunite.com/manual_39.jpg

I think I'm only going to do the pages people request..this takes quite more time than I expected (the part where I have to change the font for every single line individually). I want to do a good job for people so I won't start just dumping text into notepad. The end product is worth it, though. Looks almost like it came straight from Apex'i =)

ps: page 38 is something like 2 megs-must be all the pictures. Give it a bit of time. 39 is only 300k so it downloads almost right away.

pps: okay i downed the res a bit. it's 500k now.

I recently bought a safc2 as well...I whipped out my handy chilton's and it has most of the pinouts but I'm having trouble finding one pin for ground and the other one for IG power...and it seems the airflow sensor or MAF has 2 pins this is on a 96' KA SE going turbo. Can anyone help ?
