rb20 help

so I have an rb20 to s13 91 and the coolant temp sensor that runs to the ecu was broken off by the previous owner. I heard the ka and z32 CTS works for it but the clip on it is different when I bought it. I figured I can take the old clip off the wiring harness of my old ka and splice it in but I wanted to make sure if it would work right

I am doing some searching around ( because I am doing a RB20 swap too ) and I just read the KA temp sensor and RB temp sensor are the exact same sensor.. so it should work I'm guessing.
