sr20det wont crank ?

i swapped a fresh sr20 into my coupe and made the dumb ass mistake of placing ground and power to the power point on the alternator and it blew the fuse when i connected the battery terminals. now the 75 amp fuse is the alternator fuse/ main fuse ? would this keep it from turning over and sending power to the fuel pump/ starter and the other essentials ?
