Don't you love using ICQ, yahoo and AIM all at the same time

I hate it when some friends use yahoo some use icq some use msn and others use aim. You have to run all these clients to talk to them all! Blah, anyway if you have that problem check out this new program. I haven't got it up and running yet but it looks pretty sweet.

That is all fine and good, but I am pretty sure you actually have to use the clients of each respective program to use the real funcationalities, I don't even think you can send messages with it, only recieve them...

Why would someone write a program that can receive messages but not send them? that would make things even more complicated. I just got it set up and its working great. IMO the sounds suck ass but it looks pretty cool. You don't even have to have all the different clients installed, you just set up this new program and you can talk to ppl that use all of them. I know a lot of people here use yahoo and aim, so I just thougt I would let you all know about this program so you don't have to run multiple clients all the time.

Go download Aimster and you can use all of them with a few plugins. Although its kinda stupid since you have to be running all the services anyways. But I thought I would let you know.

Been using Trillian for a few months now, works awesome. . I love the program. . you can send and receive. &nbsp;The only things you can't do is x-fer files and some of the other gay things that ICQ lets you do. . but I have IRC for file x-fers, and it does allow DCC...

But right now, I'm on AIM, ICQ, IRC, and Yahoo

Yeah, trillian is a real pain in the ass. It just doesn't have the functionality that AIM and ICQ do.

yeah, its really only worth it if you use 2 or more clients. &nbsp;If your just replacing one with the other, I wouldn't bother.

i dont like trillian, its not that hard to juse run AIM and ICQ and IRC all at the same time, keep them all in the system tray

i haven't gone to the site..but from what everyone said...all it does is let you receive messages??? &nbsp;you can send them??? &nbsp;if that is right...i don't see the point in the proggie...

Just another clutter of a couple programs in a smaller window. Its missing functions the original AIM/ICQ/Yahoo has. Besides I only use AIM and MSN messenger anyways. Trillian sucks.
