how does the 1in feel compared to the 17/16 ? still on stock bmc at the momment

1in is typically good enough if you have a manual brake booster, or 15/16 if you only have front brakes swapped.
17/16 will be a harder pedal feel, but it's good with an auto brake booster.
These opinions apply using z32 brakes.
