SR SR swap wiring

Alright I am currently doing an Sr swap, and followed the srswap.com/heavythrottle.com wiring information. My problem though is that, the wiring harness behind the stock battery location,
<--snip-->
There are 3 plugs on the end of the KA and SR harnesses that run up behind the stock battery location....
<--end snip-->
has 15 wires and the wiring map only shows 10 of those wires being used. My question is what do those wires correspond to, and also during the wiring, there was two brown wires (Brown (to O2 sensor) O2 Sensor Power Any 12v switched source ) So I connected the 2 brown wires of the KA harness to the brown wire of the SR harness.
So 2 questions:
Is this bad? Aren't brown still 12Vpower? So connecting both was a good idea?

And what are the 5 remaining wires for? The colors do not match at all, so I don't know how to connect them, and if I don't connect them, what are they used for? thanks.
