my father in law gave us a free house in Ontario and ive never been there. i grew up in LA and was born in san diego, but never been to the ontario area.

what can i expect? i have my 240 and my evo. luckily, it comes with a 2 car garage so i can put the cars in there, but whats crime like there and what is the area like? also, being in the army and living in ny for the last 7 years, ive been getting away without worrying about emissions. im worried that im going to get back to ca and not be able to drive my sr'd 240 any more. gonna have to find a hook up im thinking.

The area itself is pretty decent; parks, entertainment, shopping... all within a few minutes drive
it is a valley/desert so it gets pretty hot during the summer
I drive through the area all the time and it's laid back
if you're looking for fast paced lifestyle then you may find it boring

lol, the hot days ill be driving my evo. i lived in az/phoenix for about 12 years so i know what heat is like. thankfully, the a/c in my evo is awesome.

out here it is very hot.

if you are near euclid and have a low and slow car, be careful during winter rain storms bcuz it becomes a freaking river and floods everywhere.

smog checkpoints down on mission.

cops can be dicks at times too especially rancho/upland/montclair ones.
but can be chill at some points too.

cool thing is, alot of stores and shopping centers are conveniently near by.

lock up your car good just in case some sketch-ass people are around, especially in ontario. (depending on what part of ontario you are residing at.)

well im here! been here 3 weeks now. loving the weather and all the food joints. havent seen but 2! 240's though. cant believe how many porsches and bimmers there are.
so wheres the hang out for us on the weekends?

I don't think people daily drive them anymore, I know I don't.
I don't see them very often either.

I live on the Upland/Rancho border. Have a couple of friends with built 240s in the area, about 5 total. We have a meet this wednesday.

Get used to the porsches and bmw's and during the summertime, a whole lot of vettes.

^^^Yeah that would be awesome if it was a star station mine just came in the mail

And I would be down to chill with new 240 people all my 240 buddies are either in the military serving or they sold the car and have other cars now
