Alignment

Within the next couple weeks I'm going to have my new springs installed(Espelir ASD springs) on my '91 fastback with super hicas. When I get it aligned after the springs are installed, should I try and take it to a Nissan dealership or could I get by with taking it to any other alignment shop? I know it would be the best idea to take it to a Nissan dealership, I'm just wondering if there is anything special that goes into aligning a hicas equipped suspension that an alignment shop might miss. Thanks.

the HICAS doesn't align any differently than a normal 240sx.

I 2nd the idea to take the car to a reputable race shop, even though its often expensive, you always get your money's worth.

If you were in socal, I'd recomend West End Alignment and it's only a little bit more than a normal price. You might be able to find a place similar in your area if you are lucky.

Obviously none of you have been to North Dakota. I don't even think a race shop like the kind you're talking about exists in this state. The import scene in my area is still growing and hasn't really gotten past the riced out honda stage. I have only seen maybe 3 other 240's in this entire state other than mine. If I did find a race shop they would probably specialize in stock cars or other dirt ovals vehicles. So that kind of sucks. Thanks for the help though.

If they could do a good alignment, there isn't anything wrong with those kind of places.
