Okay guys and gals...I've got a couple questions I need answers to. First of all, when a 97-98 240SX comes with a leather interior...what all is leather in the car? Just front and rear seats or are there other things like door panesl, etc.? If its just the front and rear seats, would anyone be interested in trading leather for cloth?

Second question: I was under the impression that all 97-98 240's were Rear Wheel Drive. However, on autotrader.com, there are a couple of people listing their 97's and 98's as Front Wheel Drive...what gives? Am I wrong or do they not know thier car?

Thanks for the replies!
Jeff

They don't know about their cars.

Sure, I'll trade my cloth seats for some leather seats.

I can't tell you about the leather, I never noticed the door panels, but they are definitely all RWD.

whoever said FWD doesn't deserve to be driving a 240.

The front and rear seats are leather, except for the back portion of the rear seat (starts around the top part, I think), is a vinyl. The door panels are a suede-like material...I'm not sure if it's leather, but it's pretty sweet. I'll try and get KoukiS14 to reply to this thread, since he's got the #### Kouki.

Its just the seats that are leather if i remember rightly. The doors are part plastic with some sort of cool skin in the doorpanels. Do i want to swap for cloth? er....no p1ss off

Heh...I'll pass that along to them. "I was right and you were wrong...you have therefore voided your right to ownershipe." That would take care of my car hunt pretty quickly.

Seriously though...thanks for the replies. I wouldn't mind having leather in my Lexus, but I want cloth in my 240. If I end up with a leather interior, I'll trade someone for cloth dead even. Thanks!

I'm serious at this point. I'll have to check it out if I do end up with leather...maybe I'll like it. I just don't think Recaro SRD's would look to good alongside a leather rear bench. I'll keep you guys in mind if I decide to trade though!

ha ha - I'm with S14Pilot. Nissan leather sucks. That was one of the two options I did NOT want. (the other being the #### sunroof that steals my headroom )
