Question What engine is this?

Hey guys I bought a 240sx with a KA24E engine in it, but there was another engine block in the hatch and I'm not sure what type of motor it is. I did some research and asked a mechanic friend and couldn't find an answer.

It says Nissan Japan 07271 on the block.

Are you serious???

That's a KA24DE...

And, it's missing a bunch of shit. Unless you've got all that crap too, or the engine is modified in some way, it's just scrap metal. It would cost less and be way less of a hassle to buy a whole motorset than to track down all the little bullshit individually.

Yes, sorry I was serious. I'm just learning everything.

I have no plans on working with it, just wanted to know specifics so I could out it on craigslist. Or possibly scrap it.

I wouldn't scrap it. Head and block looks to be in good enough condition someone could use them for a spare to be rebuilt.

Thanks. I did put it on CL, and I could always put it for sale on Zilvia if I don't have any luck.
