here's the link for the s14 97-98 s15 kit:
http://www.visracing.com/bodykits/nissan/97-98240sx/striker.html n here's a pic of an s13 w/ it done. ![]() i haven't seen a kit for the s13 yet, but i remember reading that the side fenders won't bolt onto an s13 or s14 chassis so u would need fiberglass copies. if u have an s14 97-98 though then ur all set. |

BTW, everything aftermarket has a fitment problem if you ask me... and every body kit will take some force or some form of altering to make it fit... something everyone i know with body kits and conversions will tell you...

yeah, whenever i mention a body kit to anybody the automatic reaction is "i heard those don't fit like they're supposed to." i'm sure they all get on there one way or another, it's not like they're stock parts from the dealership u know.

bomex fits pretty good.. but its so expensive.. VIS uses cheaper fiberglass so they can give you a cheaper price.. so if you want a HIGH QUALITY (still crack on ur ass) fiberglass go with a japan brand

s15 is definitely worth it and while it is an SR20-DET its much better and better than the CA18DET. As far as modifying the SR you don't really need to, just go and get a T28 Garrett off an RB25-DET or similar and you get much more...it is a direct bolt on....Its off a Skyline GTS I think........as for the transplant see a qualified performance mechanic first........and it really is easy and get a half cut through a japanese engine importer....I did and I am really happy

Each engine has it's plus and minus's and the SR edge's out the CA but to say it is leaps and bounds ahead of the CA would be a joke. While I'm at it, a T28 turbo (comes stock on s14/15 SR's) is a direct fit but there is always something that needs altered, it's not a simple remove and readd, ussually you need something shaved, rotated, realligned. As for it being easy, of course it is SINCE YOU PAID A MECHANIC TO DO IT. P.S. It'll only be natural for me to tell you to go with the 240. And I'm gonna do that .
I hope you'll choose a beautiful, sporty RWD car. |
