Power help

I'm having issues and couldn't find anywhere for help. If you know a thread where this questions been answered let me know.

Anyway, I've been driving my 240 for about 3 months, and out of nowhere the battery died. I jump start it and it's working fine. A week later it died again so I got a new battery (under warranty). After I was driving fine for a week and it died again. I jump start it, let it run for 30 mins turn it off, and the battery instantly died again. Using a Multimeter my battery read 12.6.

I was guessing it was my alternator, I really don't know how to test for that but I recently replaced that in April. My other guess would be a relay, but I'm not sure what relay controls the alternator.

Don't know, any help is appreciated.

Also make sure your brake lights arent stuck on, the little grommet in the brake pedal sometimes can rot and fall out , leaving them on all the time

I think I found the problem.

Whatever that black wire is, it's connected to my alternator and it looks like it was chewed on. Hopefully this is the problem. I'm going to try and rewire it tomorrow. I work on slot machines and rewired plenty of slot machines so I'm going to try it myself.
