Hey guys! Ive been searching for a decent 240 for a while, and I found this on craigslist! it needs WORK... but what is a project car all about? its a 1995 Nissan 240sx with the complete front and in progress rear off of a 1997 Nissan skyline gts-t. hopefully the pictures work! id love feedback! thanks!

The best you could do was to not buy this eyesore, start with a stock 240, and keep it a 240... Not try to convert it into a skyline.

I bought it like this.. haha. only because it was different. and its not an eyesore, its actually good looking. finding a decent, rust free s13 like I wanted isn't easy around here. and this isn't the path I want to go, but for a daily driver, its great. and trust me, it gets a hell of a lot more looks than a stock 240 does.

And yes, this is the definition of eyesore. Janky/ricey body kit. Poorly fit kit, "skyline conversion", shitty paint, stock painted wheels with a huge kit....

its not a body kit, its the actually front end off of a skyline. yes, the side skirts suck, theyre getting changed out for something a little more OEM looking, and I removed the paint off the wheels, and the cars a work in progress, everything is getting sanded down, and smoothed out, so why have a nice paintjob when the cars not done?

and no, im not all into modifying the body and putting body kits on. im an engine guy, so yes it has a little bit of engine work done, and im doing work on the suspension, and everything else on the car. its not going to be a show car, its just for fun.

I've seen much worse. If you really want it you will need to change the front bumper to a GTR bumper and put some wide 18" wheels on it for the proportions to work better. And definitely a paint job. It's like 15 shades of white.

the only reason im not doing a gtr bumper is because im going more for a gts look, just because its rwd. yes wheels are coming up, not to sure what to get yet :/ and the paint is coming as soon as I finish the body work, which will happen in time.

shit, there is an R33 near me for sale on autotrader for less than I could find a decent used WRX for. granted I don't trust cars that have been imported by others so I would never buy it just so the DMV or whoever could seize and destroy my car. was probably not that much more than this thing cost at all.

plus it would be a proper RB in it's proper home, not shoehorned into a 4 cylinder engine bay.

From 33 onward they had actually originally intended to move to an alloy V6 platform(VG etc.) but decided to keep with the straight 6 due to its popularity. So technically it's not the proper home of an RB either :P

Well it's going to look like a "fake" either way so you may as well pick the bumper that doesn't look utterly terrible if you want it to work.

Needs R33 GT-R Wheels, front bumper, and skirts. Also needs coilovers. Then get rid of the KA.

Or get rid of the KA first.

Rear end is a little weird but the front end actually looks okay on an S14 IMO. I've seen worse.
