This is not your average weekend SR20det swapped 240sx, it is 3 year ground up resto-mod build. She was stripped down to a bare chassis where all rust was removed and replaced with fresh metal, and any surface rust was wire wheeled and treated with POR-15. She was originally a maroon hatch, but is now covered in Lexis Metallic Burnt Micah (engine bay, door jambs, everything). She was then painstakingly built back up with new parts or the best pieces of 3 different 240sx’s.
She has been my daily driver for the last 2 years and 20,000 miles. Extremely reliable especially considering the amount of modifications, I drove it to Ohio and back at 32 mpg. This has been my baby, never taken to a track, beat on or abused. All fluids are premium synthetic. I’m currently running 16 psi on the turbo, the setup is good to 18 psi and can be turned up to over 350 hp. But for street use it is still a beast at 16 psi and pure joy to drive. I have over $20,000 invested with thousands of hours of labor involved. Then 9 months ago she was rear ended and totaled, the chassis was bent from the accident. I repaired the body and have been driving it since, but now it’s time to part it out. I will continue to drive the car until the power train sells, (I WILL NOT START PARTING THE CAR UNTILL THE ENGINE SELLS). The power train buyer has first dibs on ALL parts, I can sell them a complete turnkey swap from air filter to exhaust tip including engine management. The price will greatly depend on what parts go with it, parts that I will not separate from the engine are listed with it. When I installed the head gasket and studs you could still see the hone marks in the cylinder walls and the factory paint mark on the timing chain, this is a very clean low mileage engine that has not been abused and ran with premium synthetics.
