stock boost on an s14 sr is 10 psi or .7 bar

are you using the stock boost solinoid? I tried to use the one that came with my clip and it didn't work but my boost wouldn't hold anywhere it would just build and build.

was it cold out? were you rich or lean? running your exhaust it shoud have you running aboutn.8-.9 bar of boost if stock is .7 bar.
get an electronic boost controller if its messing with you.there are about 36782 variables for why this could be happening. my guess is the exhaust and intercooler though.

Thanks for the replies, i'm in the process of moving rigth now so i hadnt been able to check them. i checked the wastegate actuator lines and every thing looked fine, although there is a small dent in the actuator, from when the engine was shipped to me. i will probably replace it with one from hks and get a boost controller in the near future.
thanks for the replys and help.
