i have installed a set of Nismo 4.63 gears in my r200v rear. the right output shaft no longers goes into the case as far as it did. the right oil seal now leaks. has anyone done this install and had similar problems.

When you change the ring and pinion you need to reshim

the shimming only adjusts gear mesh, it shouldn't affect the output shafts (i could be wrong though), maybe you have something in the way. i'd pull it apart again and check it.

yes, it only adjusts gear mesh, you prolly have something wrong. you should put in new output shaft seals in too, it's basic and worth while.
