ECU Question

So my last rom tune was tuned for a sr20det t25/t28 setup, 550cc, z32, factory compression. Since a 2871.64 is not that much bigger will the tune still be efficient and safe?
From what I understand the the ecu is a load base type, hence you can run 16psi on a sr t28, so I was wondering if a 2871.64 would run the same around the same boost pressure. I'm thinking of also retarding the timing by 5 degrees.

No, yould need a retune. Same boost but different volume of air being pushed since you're going to be running a bigger turbo. 16 psi on T28 will yield roughly 260-280 hp, 16 psi on a GT2871R will get over 350 hp.
