It's about time that someone other than the Yanks won.  I would have rooted for the Mets because of all the things that happened in NY but not the Spankyees.  I was really glad to see schilling wina title and thought it was awesome that Womack got one of the big hits.  The whole saga with the death of his father earlier in the year really was hard for him.  Just a great story!!

i personally didn't care who would win or lose. i watched most of the games right towards the end where all the good stuff happened. it was the best world series i've ever seen <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

i'm from boston so... Yankees suck but i wanted the city to win.... hmmm Yankees won in NYC cuz they got used to the smell of rotting bodies... home field advantage
but honestly it must have sucked for them to be out there and can smell the dead bodies

personally im an ATL fan and glad that the D`Backs brought the title back to the national L.

That's pretty rough.  But I'm glad Arizon won.  They deserve it.  Besides I felt they played a better brand of ball throughtout the series then NY.
