I haven't owned a car I did'nt love. I liked my old 300zx and I like my 90' 200sx. I guess when ever I break down and buy a clunker then that car will take the "most hated car" award

Unfortunately, the Geo's weren't my choice. The only car I've gotten to choose is my 240SX. My parents thought buying me cheaper cars would save them money---yeah right! They could have bought me a brand new 240SX w/ the money they spent on shit-cars!

I've only owned one other car before the purchase of my 240, and that was a 1993 For Probe GT.......had big plans for that car until one day my automatic tranny decided it liked being in third gear....ALL THE TIME......Not only did I have to borrow the $1,700 dollars from my parents to fix, I ended up selling the car two months later and decided that I could live on my own...very bad mistake on both accounts...took me a year and a half to pay back my parents. You live you learn:)

The biggest piece of shit that I ever owned was my only "non-Nissan" car and it was a 1987 Ponticrap Grand Am... #### was that car a lemon. I should have known when it was like -10 degrees one morning and it wouldn't start up, but I walked over to my Datsun that had been sitting in a foot of snow for a week and it started up on the first crank. I highly doubt I will ever own another American car.. after the Ponticrap experience at least but I have owned a nice list of Nissans.. hehe. 78 Datsun 510 Sedan, 81 200sx, 95 Altima, 95 240sx, 89 240sx, all #### good running cars

seems like nobody has mentioned a nissan as their worst car....could that be a good thing? yes! all the bad cars seem to be the "non-nissan" cars

Bill, you deserve having that probe break on you... didn't anyone ever tell you the auto probe GT trannies break all the time??? A five speed and you still would have the car I bet, I loved my probe GT. Any ways I have destroyed ever single car I have owned in one way or another.
First car, 1984 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z
wrecked 8 days after I got it
the day after I got it out of the body shop I blew the tranny up speed shifting on a dirt road. The car was not running more than it was running, and finally I hit a guard rail in Disneys parking lot messing around in the rain.
Dodge D50 pickup, fan belt broke off I wasnt paying attn to the temp gauge, super overheat wasted the engine.
1988 GMC S15 perfect nice truck, until I cut the wall out to make it a walkthrough and put hydroes on it and blew the engine twice!!!
1995 Civic Si, first and only brand new car. Took it to a shadetree mechanic shop to have the head ported and polished, cam and throttle body installed. Car was slower than before (cam was put in wrong) didnt know why it was slower was told it was because of the porting of a vtec head (wrong) but I traded the car in for exactly what I owed anyway lost $3000. Took the cam and throttle body in my next car.
1995 Civic EX, it too was slower, I eventually found out the cam was in wrong, had it redone and the car was fine but I spent over $1000 in labor plus the $3000 I lost on the other car. 5 wrecks, 2 trannies, and 1 engine later I finally let the car get reposessed (so stupid)
1964 Chevy Impala orange with blue pearl chrome and gold roadster wires, GOD I loved this car, wife traded it for a piece of shit explorer while I was in jail, explorer was later sold for $1000 (thats what a pile of shit it was)
1988 crx, spent about $3000 putting an LS integra motor in it, crappy mechanic had it all wrong, 2 months after I got it done while driving it far from home in tampa the timing belt jumped and bent all my valves, I was so aggravated with the car and all the problems that I told my friend if he wanted to tow it back from tampa, he could have it to keep ( so stupid #2)
1989 Honda accord, wow I actually didnt hurt anything on that car.
1994 Ford Probe GT, put in an ACT 6 puck clutch, the very next day my tranny was cracked. Traded car and cash for my turbo 240
1996 Turbo 240sx after maybe 2 months I blew the engine, now its rebuilt and you know the rest.

I had the lemon of all lemons, a 92 Ford EXPLODER (explorer). It was big, slow and a bitch on gas. But on the plus side it had a really bad paint job and smelled kinda funny.

1990 Vauxhaull Nova-- it never had the power to get up hills which i regularly found intensely embaressing. And for a few months near the end the cylinders kept dropping off hourly. Sometimes i`d be driving it and i`d feel the power loss and i`d be running (crawling) on 2 cylinders. The plugs would sh1t up that much on standing that i started taking the plugs out whenever i left it anywhere and putting them back in whenever i used it again. I swear that is the truth!

Vauxaull Astra hybrid thingy. It had a larger carburettor put on by the previous owner (not to my knowledge) so it accelerated like a motherf*cker but flooded when ticking over in traffic. The ignition also decided to die when you were miles from home. One rush hour i was waiting in heavy traffic at a big junction and the lights turned green. The oncoming traffic started to flow into our road.
I noticed one car seemed to be heading in a straight line for me. Seconds passed , it still was.
It continued to follow that straight line and buried itself in my front right wing and slid right down the side of the Astra and into the car behind (old fella had collapsed--tw@t got off with it as well as it was decided he was not negligent cos he collapsed out of the blue) Bye Bye Astra!!!
never , NEVER buy a vauxhaull!!!!!!

my worst car would be a '89 olds 88.... my tranny also felt like staying on third gear.... piece of shit almost killed me one day because it would shift out of 1st gear....

anyways... bottom line, american cars are big, ugly pieces of wood that cant be made strong if the whole world depended on them. NISSAN all the way.

i love my '98 Altima and '92 240sx.

Don't bash American cars so much guys. . . I've had plenty of good luck with the American cars in my family *looks out the window at his 300k mile, ten year old chevy pickup. absolute worst car was my first....'90 Pontiac Grand Am. It actually ran really well but the auxilliary belts always managed to loosen themselves and squeal and it handled like a boat and it just felt unsafe to drive.

about the domestics thing....my dad's '86 Ford Ranger XLT has over 300K; guess what....it still runs and will probably be my little sis's first car.
