From a standing start , clutch down , then lifting it off to make a quick start from lights for example the car immediately lurches and THEN accelerates as normal. I try more revs but power still drops right down as i release the clutch. Its not until clutch is completely off and revs catch again that car accelerates off. The whole thing happens in the initial first second after releasing the clutch so we`re not talking turbo lag here. I try to convince myself its not a problem (as after that its its normal pacey self) but it IS. I can no longer accelerate hard from stop without this instant pause on release of clutch. Any ideas?
(s14a by the way)

UK 200SX 2.0turbo (s14a)
I do have a habit of driving till the tank is empty though. Being honest my last car went the same way. It has to be me some how i suppose.  It was OK when i got it. Took off from standing no probs. If my fuel filter was clogged would it do that only at take off in first?
