Selling my 1985 BMW 635csi. It is currently smogged and registered for 2015. Reason for selling is because I am looking to into a Nissan 240sx and sport bikes. The car is extremely rare for being a manual. Has low miles of 172,xxx+ (odometer has stopped working at 171k and is my daily so miles will go up) Miles on these BMWs easily reach 300k and still run strong. CLEAN TITLE Located in San Diego, CA CONS: A/C needs to be recharged High beams don't work Electric seats don't recline (Gear popped out of place) Passenger fog light does not work Shifter has a lot of play THIS IS NOT A 100% FULLY RESTORED CAR. It is almost 30 years old! The e24 (chassis code) is known throughout the BMW community as one of the most beautiful BMWs every made with it's legendary "shark nose" design. The lower part of the engine was known as being "bullet proof" and is extremely reliable. This Gran Touring car turns heads by all ages and is respected by many. Some enthusiasts arguably say that these years of the BMWs were the very last pure driver's cars produced by BMW. Bavarian Motor Works truly have created a beautiful car. Since the car is manual, it will be very hard to find one just like this. I picked up the car at $10.2k and he car has maintenance records from first owner along with the original window stickers and owner's manual. It has the original M30 3.5 liter inline 6-cylinder engine. The interior was reupholstered with original nappa leather. The dash does have cracks. There are power front/back windows, power sunroof, and power steering and all. Paint is immaculate. Repainted by second owner to its original factory metallic black. Car runs on the freeway and accelerates with ease. Trunk is clean and has original carpet mats in the cabin of the car. The car is able to run and can be a daily driver BUT is not 100% fully restored. The car needs tender love and care from a committed owner. The asking price is $7,000 for zilvians OR BEST OFFER.
