sr20det vvl conversion

Ive done some searching around and I don't fully understand this swap. I know it's from the fwd cars like the g20 but really is this swap worth it, is it expensive, and what are the pros and cons?

Looks like you haven't done enough searching other than the sr20 wiki page. Between zilvia and the dash you will find more than enough information on VE swaps.

Agreed. Look under chat here, you'll find a thread directly related to the swap. You should also search and read through the builds section, quite a few going on.

I'll tell you right now, it's not exactly a cheap swap and at 19, I highly doubt you have the skill set and funds to have it completed, but I've been wrong before.

Well not knowing much about the swap puts me at a big disadvantage as well.

This is why you search for information, it's this awesome thing called autodidacticism.

Google is awesome at finding things too, almost if it was made to do so.

If you're in good very good terms with machinists, fabricators and tuners it's as expensive as a traditional SR swap.
If not, my suggestion is to either save up a lot of cash or just do a more typical build. Research to see if the benefits are worth it to you.
