when your steering wheel locks when you take out your key......was your steering wheel supose to be centered when its locked?

it seems to lock when you turn it after teh car is off.
so it probably wouldnt be centered.

my car '95 s14.

turn car off.
turn wheel right or left.
click.
steering wheel is at a 45ish degree angle.

unless the wheel is all the way to the side than it will click too. the wheels lock so that you can park on a hill and turn them against a curb, so your ride doesnt drive down the hilll.
Its pretty common on most cars.
Everyone that I have been in has it.
