Getting a title from the DMV

ok, i have an opportunity to get a s13 shell but the seller only wants me to get the title from the dmv. is it hard to obtain or only the seller can get the title first? and this is only the shell...

so what do you guys think?

Go to DMV, get the "missing title" form they have at the front desk, no you don't have to wait in line. Then have the seller sign it, and you're good to go.

^^^ That is correct, they will charge you for it though, and it will need to be notarized as well, the notary will charge for their services too. Easiest place to find a notary will be like a new car lot or a funeral home. Personal experience has it that the ones in the funeral homes are less of dicks toward people.
