Brake feels mushy when under vacuum
My brake pedal feels great when the car is off. When I turn the car on, the pedal almost goes to the floor. 4/5 of the pedal travel does nothing, with 100% of the braking force happening right at the end of the travel. Is my brake booster bad?

A friend of mine and I made the same swap now it is his track car.
I am jealous of the roots charged one, I wanted to do that, sounds so sexy. Back on topic. When you put the brake booster vacuum line back on, did you put the one way check valve back in, and facing the correct direction? I could not tell from the pictures. |

haha that is your problem, you are just pushing the vacuum right back out the booster.
You might be able to. The line is like 1/2 I think Or pull it and bring it with you to test. I am 90% sure they have them in that random crap isle. If not they are like 6 bucks on courtesy Nissan .com |
