s14 A/C help w/S13 Blacktop in 97 S14

Now that temperatures are in the upper 90s to 100s, driving the car during daylight hours is just not practical. For that matter, the evenings are not too bareable either. Nevertheless, it is time to resolve the A/C matter in my '97 S14.

Presently, I have it rigged manually with a toggle switch. Of course, this only works for only a short while since the compressor must cycle on and off to prevent the compressor from locking up. I recall reading somewhere that piggy-backing the KA ECU to the SR ECU would allow the climate control to read the idle, etc. and thus allow the A/C to operate normally using the existing climate control in the KA model.

Has anyone ever resolved this matter? Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
